Templates

Onedrive contains all Office templates that are intended to be used for presentations internally and externally. The templates are under [Onedrive] / Regent / Company Document / Profile / Office templates. The path within [] may differ for different computers, so click on the correct path in your Explorer.

Add them so they are easily accessible in your Office programs

PC

  1. Open a Powerpoint document (any)
  2. Select Save as…
  3. At the bottom there is a selection “Tools”, click and select Options for save.
  4. Add your own path to the Onedrive fold where our Office templates are (see above) in the box called “Default location for personal templates”.
  5. Also click in “Save to computer by default”
  6. Click “Ok” and then click “Save”.

When you now choose to create a new Powerpoint presentation under “File”, the templates appear. If you do not see the templates there, you will also find them on the same screen under the tab “Personal”

Mac (Office 2016)

On Mac, you can not change the path to your templates. So you must either copy Regent’s templates from Onedrive (see path above) to the default path on a Mac, ie LibraryGroup ContainersUFB8T346G9.OfficeUser ContentTemplates for or simply open the template as usual by selecting “Open” and scrolling to it instead of “Open from template”.
